22 : 12 : 09 - Another year races past! In many ways 2009 has been a
year in which many of the projects and opportunities will see light in
2010...time will tell. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a
peaceful and relaxing time over the coming festivities and a
prosperous new year.
22 : 12 : 09 - SITE UPGRADE - Upload of new links, photo and
music for solo guitar piece in downloads from “Last View...” CD.
09 : 12 : 09 - Launch of my new website; I hope you like it. Love to
hear back from you regarding the new look.
01 : 12 : 09 - Currently working on a new guitar concerto for guitar
and chamber orchestra by renowned English composer Bruce
Graham. The hope is to premier the complete work at the Edinburgh
International Fringe Festival in 2010.
31 : 11 : 09 - I was delighted to be invited by guitarist and tutor Chris
Dixon to be part of the annual awards ceremony for young guitarists at
the Mansfield School of Music. The children played wonderfully well
and as well as handing out awards certificates, I even got the chance
to play! Pictures of the can be found in Gallery, recent project images.
20 : 07 : 09 - Recording of latest album tentatively titled “The Mirror’s
Image”. Great performances were given by all the musicians. Of
particular note, however, was Paul Harrison’s performance on keys
and synths. on some very difficult parts including the title track The
Mirror’s Image.
24 : 03 : 09 - My album “The Last View From Mary’s Place” is
featured as album of the week on one of South Korea’s foremost
music websites.
